ChemSex is the practice of sex under the influence of recreational drugs, specifically crystal methamphetamine, mephedrone and GHB/GBL. The prevalence of the presentation is unknown, but it is considered to be one of the highest risk sexual practices for contracting HIV and it has been linked to a number of other risks to one’s mental and physical health.
