An agreement (or Therapeutic Contract) between client and therapist will need to be signed by the client at the beginning of the initial assessment, or acknowledged via email if the sessions are conducted remotely. This document includes information on the length and frequency of sessions, what constitutes acceptable contact in-between sessions, notice periods for both client and therapist and details of confidentiality and its limitations.
